Terra Liquida
Marina Rheingantz – Liquid Earth presents an overview of the production of this young artist from São Paulo. The book, the painter’s first monographic publication, features an essay by curator Rodrigo Moura and replicates about seventy images of the artist’s works. In her paintings, Rheingantz carries out a process of creation in which she repeatedly constructs and deconstructs her canvases with ink overlays that form large fields of color and, at the same time, bring out punctual elements. Desolate landscapes, roads, and internal environments only appear as vestiges of the reality, fragmented by the memory in a collage full of textures.
